If you choose to tunnel only specific apps through the VPN, you may encounter the following region error when using the Gemini app:
If you see this, follow these steps:
1. Launch the PrivadoVPN app on your Android device.
- Tap the 'Settings' icon in the top-right corner.
- Select 'Smart Route' from the settings menu and turn it on.
- Select 'Tunnel'
- In the Smart Route settings, search and add Gemini and Google apps by tapping the plus (+) icon
2. Connect to a VPN Location That Supports Gemini

Go back to the main screen of the PrivadoVPN app.

Choose a server location where Gemini is supported (for example, US or EU).

Tap 'Connect' and open the Gemini App. It should launch and function properly without any region errors.
3. If you still have an error:

Try clearing the cache/data of the Gemini app or reinstalling it.

Restart your device after updating the tunnel settings.
