PrivadoVPN Web Proxy Extension for browsers

Supported browsers

  • Chromium-based browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, and other Chromium derivatives

  • Mozilla Firefox

 

1. Install the Extension

• For Chromium-based browsers: click here to open the PrivadoProxy Web Extension page and select ‘Add to Chrome’.

• For Mozilla Firefox browser: click here to open the PrivadoProxy Web Extension page and select ‘Add to Firefox’.


 

2. Confirm Installation

• A standard warning will appear. Click ‘Add extension’ to proceed.

• To learn more about PrivadoVPN’s zero-log policy and the data we collect, visit our privacy policy.


 

3. Pin the Extension for Easy Access

• Click the extensions icon (a puzzle piece) in the top-right corner of your browser.

• Find the PrivadoVPN extension and click the pin icon to add it to your toolbar.


  

4. Log In to Your Account

• Open the PrivadoVPN extension and log in using your Premium account username and password.

• If you forgot your password, click here.   

  

5. Connect to VPN

• The initial status will show as ‘Exposed’.

• To protect your browsing, choose your preferred server location and click ‘Connect’.

 

6. Verify Connection

• When connected, the extension icon will turn green, and the status will update to ‘Protected’.

• To disable proxy, click ‘Disconnect’.


 

*** Important Note 
The PrivadoVPN Chrome Extension protects browsing only for the Chrome profile where it is installed. For complete protection across all apps on your desktop or mobile devices, download the respective PrivadoVPN apps
